Admission Criteria
In addition to Frostburg State
University’s general
graduate admission requirements, applicants to the Master of Science
in Applied
Computer Science program must have:
- a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Science or,
a bachelor’s degree and specified background courses determined
by the department Graduate Committee.
- an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for full admission.
GPA less than 3.0 may be admitted on documented proficiency.
- International Students Only: You must achieve a minimum score of
550 on the TOEFL paper exam or 213 on the computer-based TOEFL to be
eligible for admission.
